Collaboratory is a platform that is used to highlight what IU faculty, staff and students carry out around their community and all over the world. Document your work to become part of the greater story in your community. Below are some examples of how IU is using Collaboratory data to tell a stories, foster meaningful dialogue, and identify areas of priority based on existing knowledge and resources co-created with the community.

IUNW Center for Urban and Regional Excellence: Partners - In Conversation

IU Northwest's Center for Urban and Regional Excellence hosts Partners - In Conversation, which is an initiative that highlights conversations between community members, faculty, and students. Their YouTube channel has the recorded conversations saved in which a variety of topics are explored, such as healthcare, education, and equity and social justice.

IUPUI's Community Engagement Map

See a visual representation of all the community organization in which IUPUI has an established partnership with. You can find community partnerships based off various filters. As of December 2021, IUPUI has 1,211 activities with community partners nationwide.

IUPUI K-12 Partnerships

IUPUI has engaged with the K-12 ecosystem by preparing and developing teachers, addressing college and career preparation, and establishing partnerships with local school corporations, such as Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS). Currently, IUPUI has over 60 documented activities with IPS, and 62.7% of IPS schools have a relationship with IUPUI.

Charting the Future: Indiana University Office of School Partnerships

The Office of School Partnerships was created out of the Charting the Future Initiative which works to systemically document how faculty, staff, and students are improving K-12 education. The office works across the IU system to build meaningful, regional, mutually beneficial partnerships that advance K-12 student success by leveraging resources and the collective expertise of everyone involved.
